Robert Pozen is a prolific producer of remarkable breadth. His distinguished career spans the fields of business, government and academia. For several recent years, Robert worked as executive chair of Massachusetts Financial Services (MFS) while carrying a full teaching load at Harvard Business School. Before MFS, he spent fifteen years at Fidelity Investments, rising in the last five to president of its investment management business. Under Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, Robert was appointed Secretary of Economic Affairs. He has also served as a senior staff member of the SEC, as well as head of the SEC Advisory Committee on Improving Disclosures. Robert is currently a senior lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management, where he teaches a course for executives on maximizing their personal productivity. His seventh book, “Extreme Productivity: Boost Your Results, Reduce Your Hours,” has received wide acclaim since its 2012 publication. The book, which has been translated into ten languages, is filled with practical suggestions on how to work smarter and get more done. Our collaboration is based on the book’s core principles and premise.
